Based on the popular and powerful Edelbrock #2101, this dual-plane intake is designed for the street rod, industrial and engine swap market utilizing 262-400 c.i.d. Chevy V8s with 1996 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron or the new Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. Manifold has provisions for external water bypass and may be used on either Vortec blocks or 1995 and earlier blocks. No provision for exhaust heated chokes. Innovative multi-scraper windage system uses two strategically placed scrapers to strip oil quickly from the rotating assembly, reducing windage for increased power
Each scraper can be trimmed to match specific crank and rod combinations, maximizing its ability to reduce windage.
Full length power kickout provides an "escape route" for oil leaving rotating assembly to reduce windage and increase power.

Winters Alum Axle Tubes
Tips for measuring Axle Tubes. This will assist you when ordering the correct axle tubes.
At Poske's Performance Parts we sell our axle tubes to match axle lengths. Axle tubes are 6" shorter than the axles. For example, a 34" axle tube actually measures 28". Measure from the end of tube without the hub to the edge of the bell, then add 11". This will give you the axle length.
TIP: When installing a tube in a bell, place the the tube in a 5 gallon bucket of ice. Make sure that the bell is clean and free of chemicals or flammable materials. Use an oven or grill to heat your bell to 270-300 degrees F. Magnesium can be ignited. EXERCISE CAUTION! Lubricate the bell bore and drop the tube into the bell. DO NOT TORCH! Bell cracking will occur.
